Hello,
Thanks for joining us in the discussion about all things dogs. I am an active volunteer with Alberta Animal Rescue Society otherwise known as AARCS. I have been volunteering for the past year with the organization and it has taught me so many lessons. Every single shift that I volunteer I walk away with a mind full of insight, a heart full of love and clothes full of fur and slobber. I wouldn’t trade that for the world. From as early as 3 years old I have been an avid dog lover and spent the majority of my childhood researching different dog breeds, writing essays and posters on dogs and begging my parents to let us get a dog. Low and behold when I was 9 I was introduced to one of my best friends Sahara. Sahara was a lovely goldendoodle who was full of spunk, energy and mischief. She was the first dog I ever owned and she taught me new things each and everyday. Sahara passed away in 2015 and losing her is what pushed me to be a full blown dog lady. So if you love dogs as much as I do, feel free to follow my adventures and lessons from the shelter each week.
